What is Alta?
Alta's website calls it a personal AI stylist and digital closet, built around the clothes you already own.
According to its website, you can:
- take a photo of an item and get a clean, studio-style picture of it,
- get daily outfit ideas based on your closet and the weather,
- try outfits on an avatar of you,
- plan trips, with outfits and a packing list,
- keep a wishlist and get told when a price drops,
- use it for free.
What is Ukti?
Ukti is our app. It is an AI stylist on your phone.
- You take photos of your clothes.
- Every morning Ukti picks one outfit from them, for your day and the weather, and tells you why it works.
- It shows you a picture of you wearing the outfit. The picture is made with AI from your photos.
- For a special day, it builds three outfits from your closet and scores how well each one suits you.
- You can tell it about your day, by voice or by typing.
- Once a week it scores your look and reads your skin, and tells you what to work on.
Ukti has no ads, no feed and no friends list.

How to switch
You cannot move your closet from one app to another. You need to add your clothes again. In Ukti this is quick: lay a few items on your bed and take one photo. Ukti finds each item. Start with the ten items you wear most.
