We make Ukti, so of course we like it best. We have tried to be fair. The facts about the other apps come from their own websites, which we read on 3 October 2026. Apps change often, so please check each website for the latest.
First, what do you want?
Styling apps do three different jobs. Pick your job first. Then pick the app.
- "Just tell me what to wear." You want the app to choose.
- "Help me organize and plan." You want to see all your clothes and plan outfits yourself.
- "Help me find my style." You want to learn your colors, or get help from a real person.
All seven apps in one table

1. Ukti
Best for: people who do not want to choose.
Ukti is our app. You take photos of your clothes. Every morning it gives you one outfit and tells you why it works. It shows a picture of you wearing it, made with AI from your photos.
It does more when you need it. For a wedding, a date or a big meeting, it builds three outfits from your closet and scores each one out of 10. You can try any of them on. You can tell it about your day, by voice or by typing. Once a week it scores your look and reads your skin.
Not for you if: you want to plan outfits for future days, make packing lists or follow friends. Ukti has none of these. It is free to download, and some features need a membership.
2. Whering
Best for: organizing your wardrobe for free.
Whering's website says you can add clothes with photos, by searching a large list of items, or from shop websites. It has a shuffle button, daily styling suggestions, outfit planning and packing. You can also see your friends' wardrobes. Its website says it is free to use, on iPhone and Android.

3. Alta
Best for: trips, packing and an avatar.
Alta's website calls it a personal AI stylist and digital closet. It says you get daily outfit ideas based on your closet and the weather, you can try outfits on an avatar of you, and you can plan trips with packing lists. Its website says it is free to use.
4. Acloset
Best for: big wardrobes and people who like numbers.
Acloset's website says its AI organizes your closet, recommends outfits and tracks your style. You can import clothes from online shops. It has a style calendar and stats about what you wear. It is on iPhone and Android, with a Chrome extension.
5. Fits
Best for: planning outfits and sharing them.
The Fits website says the app recommends outfits based on your style, the weather and the occasion. You can schedule outfits ahead and share your wardrobe with friends. It has a free version and a paid plan called Fits Pro. It is on iPhone and Android.
6. Indyx
Best for: help from a real person.
Indyx's website says it is a digital wardrobe app with a free version. You can also pay a human stylist to make outfits from your own clothes. The prices are on its website. It also has a calendar and shows how much each item costs you per wear.
7. Style DNA
Best for: finding your colors.
The Style DNA website says the app finds your color palette from a selfie. It can also pair your own items into outfits, answer style questions in a chat, and suggest clothes to buy from many shops.
How to choose in one minute
- You do not like choosing → Ukti.
- You love planning → Whering, Acloset or Fits.
- You want to see outfits on you → Ukti (a picture of you) or Alta (an avatar).
- You want a real stylist → Indyx.
- You want to know your colors → Style DNA.
All of these apps need you to add your clothes first. That takes time. So try one app, add about ten items, and see if you like it before you add the rest.
