We make Ukti. Ukti is not a personal shopper: it does not sell clothes. The facts about the three services on this page come from their own websites, which we read on 5 October 2026. Services change, so check their websites before you sign up.
What a personal shopper app does
A personal shopper is a person who picks clothes for you to buy. A personal shopper app does the same job from your phone.
You say your size, what you like and how much you want to spend. Then a stylist, or the app, picks clothes for you.
Three kinds
| Kind | How | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| A box sent to you | A stylist picks clothes and sends a box. You keep what you like and send back the rest. | People who do not like shops |
| A stylist at a shop | A person who works for the shop helps you choose from that shop. | People who love one shop |
| A closet app with links | The app starts with your own clothes. It links to a shop only for a missing item. | People who want to buy less |
Three services that send you a box
Stitch Fix
Stitch Fix's website says you take a style quiz. A stylist picks clothes for you and sends them in a box. You keep what you like and send back the rest. The website says shipping and returns are free, and that there is a styling fee for each order. It has an app.
Lookiero
Lookiero's UK website says you fill in a profile. A personal shopper picks clothes for you, and a box comes to your home. You pay only for what you keep, and you send the rest back for free. It has clothes for women and for men.
Wantable
Wantable's website says you take a quiz and a stylist picks nine items for you. You have five days to try them on. You keep what you like and send the rest back for free. The website lists a styling fee that goes toward what you keep.

When a personal shopper is a good idea
- You need many new clothes at once. For example, for a new job.
- You do not like going to shops.
- You want to try styles you would not pick yourself.
When you do not need one
- Your closet is full, but you feel you have nothing to wear.
- You want to spend less on clothes.
- You keep buying things that go with nothing.
In these cases, more clothes will not fix it. What helps is seeing the outfits you already own.
A different way: start with your closet
Ukti is our app. It is a personal stylist, not a personal shopper.
- You take photos of your clothes. Ukti builds outfits from them.
- When an outfit needs an item you do not own, Ukti lists that item as new.
- Tap the item, and Ukti opens the product page or a shop search. You buy from the shop, not from Ukti.
So you only buy the item that is missing. Read how to shop the look, starting from your own closet.

Questions to ask before you sign up
- Is there a fee for each box?
- Are returns free? How many days do I have?
- Can I stop at any time?
- Does it have my size?
- Does it send to my country?
