How it works
- Add a photo of you. A selfie is enough to start. A full-length photo helps the outfit match your height and build.
- Add your clothes. Take photos of the clothes you own.
- Open the app in the morning. Ukti picks your outfit for today.
That is all. You do not drag items around. You do not scroll through ideas.
Your outfit of the day
Each morning you get:
- One outfit. It uses the clothes in your closet. If your closet is small, Ukti may add one new item, or build a whole new look. It tells you which one it did.
- A picture of you wearing it. The picture is made with AI from your photos.
- The reason. A short note on why the outfit works, the weather it was picked for, and how to wear it. Read more about why it works.
- The list of items. Each item is marked as one you own or a new one. For a new one, Ukti links you to a shop.
Tomorrow you get a new one.
It knows the weather
Today shows the weather where you are. Ukti picks the outfit for it. The app asks for your location once. You can say no. Read more about outfits for the weather.
Want something else?
Some days the outfit is not right for your plans. Then tell Ukti about your day, by voice or by typing, and get a new outfit. Read more about talking to Ukti.
Do you need an outfit for a wedding, a date or a big meeting? In your closet, Ukti can build three outfits for the occasion. See the outfit generator.
A reminder, and a widget
- One reminder a day. You pick the time. Ukti never sends a second one.
- A widget. You can put today's outfit on your phone's home screen. On iPhone, it can also sit on the lock screen.
Your looks are kept for you
Each outfit is saved with its picture. You do not have to tap save. You can look back at your saved looks at any time.
Tell Ukti about your usual day
In your profile, you can set your usual kind of day: work, free or formal.
Why only one outfit a day?
Because choosing is the hard part. If an app shows you ten outfits every morning, you still have to choose. That is the same problem as standing at your wardrobe.
With one outfit, you just get dressed. If you want to know more about this idea, read our guide on decision fatigue and clothes.
How Ukti is different from other outfit planners
| Most outfit planner apps | Ukti | |
|---|---|---|
| Who chooses | You | Ukti |
| Each morning | Many ideas to pick from | One outfit |
| Calendar for future days | Often yes | No |
| Tells you why it works | Not often | Yes, every day |
| Picture of you in the outfit | Some apps | Yes, made with AI |
What Ukti does not do
We want you to pick the right app. So here is what Ukti does not have:
- a calendar to plan outfits for next week,
- packing lists for trips,
- a feed or a friends list. You can share a saved look as a picture.
If you want those, another closet app is a better fit. Our guide to styling apps compares them.
What it costs
Ukti is free to download. Some features need a membership. The app shows you the price before you pay.
How to start
Get the app from the App Store or Google Play. Take photos of about ten items you wear a lot. Add a photo of yourself. Then open the app tomorrow morning.
