We make Ukti, and Style Sketch does the same kind of job, so read this with that in mind. We could not test Style Sketch. What we say about it comes from Meta's own App Store and Google Play listings and a TechCrunch report, all read on 2 November 2026. A new app can change fast, so check the store for the latest.
What Style Sketch does
Meta Platforms is the name on both store listings. The app's full name is "Style Sketch: Outfit Planner", and its Apple listing opens with "Upload what you already own, and get outfit ideas built around it." The listings describe these things:
- A closet that fills itself. "Connect to Instagram and your closet builds itself from the photos you've already shared." Google Play's listing says "Facebook or Instagram". You can also add clothes with a photo, a short video or your camera roll.
- Outfits from what you own. Combinations "built entirely from your own wardrobe".
- Seeing it on you. Under the heading "SEE IT ON YOU FIRST", you try looks "on a realistic model matched to your body shape and skin tone". The listing does not say whether the model is made from your photo.
- One piece, many outfits. Pick a jacket you never wear, and it builds looks around it.
- Today's look. "Your look for today, with the weather already factored in."
- Trips. Tell it where you are going and for how long, and you get "a day-by-day outfit plan" for the forecast and what you will do.
- Planning and browsing. Apple's screenshots show a Plan tab with Week and Trips, a box to describe the week ahead, and a box on the home screen to describe the occasion. The listings also let you browse looks and trends, then build something similar from your closet.
- Friends. You can send two outfits to a friend and ask which one to wear.
The listing says "Style Sketch is free to use." Apple's page showed no in-app purchases on the day we read it. Apple lists English and 33 more languages, Hindi among them, and rates the app 18+. Google Play rates it 3+ and showed 100K+ downloads.
Can you get it in India?
Not on the day we checked. On 2 November 2026, we asked both stores for the app's page, one country at a time. This is what came back on a web browser, not on a phone.
| Country | Apple | Google Play |
|---|---|---|
| Indonesia | Page opens | Install button |
| Singapore | Page opens | Install button |
| Thailand | Page opens | Install button |
| India | Not found | No button |
| United States | Not found | No button |
| United Kingdom | Not found | No button |
We did not check other countries. This matches TechCrunch, which reported on 29 October that the app is available in Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand, that "It's unknown whether Meta plans to launch Style Sketch more widely", and that Meta did not answer its questions. So nobody outside Meta can give you a date, and the app may never come to your country.
We would not try to get around this:
- An app file from another website may not be Meta's app at all. On either store, the name to look for is Meta Platforms, Inc.
- Changing your Apple Account country is more work than one app is worth. Apple says to spend your remaining balance and cancel any subscriptions that block the change, and that you might need a valid payment method for the new place.
What it may do with your data
If you connect it, this app sees your Instagram photos, your clothes and your body shape, so read its labels first. Both stores show what Meta itself reported. Apple says its label "has not been verified by Apple".
- Apple's label lists data that "may be collected and linked to your identity". Under "Third-Party Advertising" it names purchase history, coarse location, email address, name, contacts, photos or videos, search and browsing history, device ID and sensitive info.
- Google Play's label says "No data shared with third parties", and also says the app may collect personal info, photos and videos, and three other kinds of data. It says data is encrypted in transit, and that you can ask for it to be deleted.
The two stores ask different questions, so the labels may not match. A label also says what "may" happen, not what does happen. Neither listing says whether your closet photos are used to train AI. Google Play links both Facebook's privacy policy and Instagram's, Apple's label links Facebook's, and Meta has a page on how it uses information for generative AI. We could not open the parts of them that answer this, so read them yourself before you connect your account.
Ask the same questions of any app like this, ours too. Ukti uploads your photos to make the outfit pictures and readings, so they do leave your phone. It has a switch for whether install and subscribe milestones go to Meta and Google, and it never sends your name, email or photos there. You can delete your account in the app, which removes your closet, saved looks, skin readings and photos. Every app's store page has a label, so read Ukti's too, and our privacy page.
What to use instead
Each line below comes from the app's own website or help page, read on 2 November 2026.
| App | Clothes from | On you |
|---|---|---|
| Google Photos Wardrobe | Your old photos | A try-on |
| Alta | A photo of each piece | An avatar of you |
| Acloset | Photos in a row, or order emails | An avatar from your photo |
| Fits | The web, or your photos | A try-on from a selfie |
| Ukti | Camera or gallery | A picture from your selfie |
If you want a closet built from old photos, look at Google Photos Wardrobe. It works from "photos of you from the last 4 years". It has limits. Its help page says you must "Be located in Brazil, India and in the US", that it is rolling out to AI Pro and Ultra subscribers and other select users, and that without one of those plans you need more than 1,000 photos of yourself. You also choose the items yourself, up to six for an outfit.
If you want trip plans, look at Alta ("Generate packing lists and outfits for trips"), Acloset ("pack for trips with real weather data") or Fits ("know what to pack for vacation"). Ukti does not make packing lists.
If you want the app to choose, Acloset says "AI picks outfits from your own clothes for the weather and your plans", Alta offers "daily outfit recommendations based on your closet and weather", and Ukti gives you one finished outfit a day.
We go through more of these in our guide to apps for putting outfits together and our comparison of AI stylist apps. We also set Ukti beside Alta, Acloset and Fits one at a time. If you are in India, read what to look for in a stylist app in India.
Style Sketch and Ukti, side by side
| Style Sketch | Ukti | |

| Planning ahead | A day-by-day trip plan, and a Plan tab with Week and Trips in Apple's screenshots | No outfit calendar or packing lists |
| Friends | Send looks to a friend | No friends list or feed. Share a look as a picture. |
| Telling it your day | No talking on its listings. A typed occasion box in Apple's screenshots. | Talk or type to a stylist |

| Languages | 34 on Apple's listing | English |
Wait for it, or use something else?
It may be worth waiting if you post a lot of outfit photos on Instagram, and you are happy to link that account. Adding clothes is the slow part of any closet app, and a closet that fills itself is the real idea here. It also fits if you plan your week or your trips, or want the app in a language other than English.
Do not wait if you want to get dressed with help now. There is no date, and Meta has not said the app will come to more countries. If you post few outfit photos, the Instagram link will not save you much, and you will add your clothes by hand in most apps.
If you want a picture made from your own selfie, or you would rather get one outfit than plan one, that is what Ukti's daily outfit does.
