We make Ukti, so of course we like it best. The facts about Fits come from its own website, help pages and App Store listing, which we read on 1 November 2026. We did not test Fits. Apps change often, so check fits-app.com for the latest. This page is about the outfit planner and closet app called Fits. A Shopify try-on tool with a similar name is a different product.
The main difference
Both apps can suggest an outfit. The difference is what you get. Fits gives you ideas and tools. Its store notes describe "a home screen that gives you outfit ideas every day", and its help pages describe an AI stylist that "knows your wardrobe". From there you build outfits on a canvas, plan them ahead and log what you wore. To see one on you, you run a try-on.
Ukti gives you one finished outfit each morning, already shown on you, so there is nothing to build. It uses your own clothes. With a small closet it adds one new piece or styles a fully new look, and the screen says which one it did.
What Fits does
Fits calls itself "The ultimate styling app". According to its website and help pages, you can:
- add clothes from your phone's camera or photo library, from online shops in its browser, or by searching the web and the Fits community, with many items at once,
- build outfits by swiping through clothes or placing them on a canvas,
- schedule outfits ahead, log what you wore and make packing lists for a trip,
- chat with its AI stylist, free with a daily message limit, and get outfit ideas for your style, the weather and the occasion,
- ask the stylist to rate an outfit and get "a rating and styling tips",
- try clothes on from a selfie and your body type, at one AI credit each time,
- find your color palette with an AI color analysis,
- let friends see your wardrobe or make outfits for you, if your privacy settings allow it,
- connect your wardrobe to ChatGPT or Claude,
- use it on iPhone and Android.
Fits says the app is free to use, with no limit on clothes or outfits. Fits Pro is an optional paid plan. It adds unlimited AI stylist chats and outfit ideas, and 30 AI credits a month for try-on and image work. The help pages we read do not say how many credits a free account gets.
On price, Fits's comparison with Alta lists "$4.99 / mo". Its US App Store listing shows Fits Pro at $9.99, $29.99 and $59.99 with no billing period. Check the price in the app before you pay.
What Ukti does
- You take photos of your clothes, and Ukti names and sorts each one.
- Each morning it picks one outfit for the day's weather and shows it in a picture made with AI from your selfie. A short reason comes with it.
- For a certain day, you pick from six occasions or describe the day in your own words. With ten items in your closet, it builds three outfits: a safe one, a bold one and a stretch.
- Each outfit gets a "suits you" score out of 10. Tap a piece to swap it for another from your closet.
- You can talk to a stylist day to day, or type.
- Once a week it can score your look from two photos and check your skin from a selfie.
Ukti is free to download. There is a paid membership, and the app shows the price. The app is in English only.

Choose Fits if
- you enjoy making outfits yourself, like a collage,
- you want to schedule a week of outfits on a calendar,
- you pack for trips and want the list in the app,
- you want to add clothes from online shops,
- you want your wardrobe inside ChatGPT or Claude,
- you want the app in a language other than English.
Ukti has no canvas, calendar for planning ahead, packing list, wishlist or friends list, and you cannot add clothes from shops. If one of these is why you use Fits, Ukti will not replace it.
Choose Ukti if
- you want a finished outfit each morning, without building anything,
- you want to see the outfit on you before you get dressed,
- you want the morning's outfit to come with a reason, and a score on each outfit you ask for,
- you would rather talk through your day than tap through a screen,
- you also want help with your skin and your overall look.
Other apps to look at
If you want an app that helps you choose and also lets you plan ahead, read these first. Each line comes from the app's own website, read on 1 November 2026.
- Acloset says "Your AI-picked outfit, every day", and "Track what you wear each day and pack for trips with real weather data." See Ukti vs Acloset.
- Alta offers daily outfits from your closet and the weather, a "style calendar" and packing lists for trips. See Ukti vs Alta.
- Whering has "Plan what to wear" on its home page, and one of its articles says outfits can be made "either by my Whering community or the app itself". See Ukti vs Whering.
Our comparison of AI stylist apps sets out more of them by what they do.
How to switch
You cannot bring your closet over from another app, so you add your clothes again. In Ukti, lay a few items on your bed and take one photo, and Ukti finds each one. Start with the ten items you wear most, because ten is what you need for outfits on demand. Read more about the Ukti closet.
