Why is skin part of a styling app?
Because looking good is not only about clothes. Your skin is part of how you look every day.
So Ukti looks at both. It tells you what to wear. And it tells you what to work on.
How it works
- Take a selfie. The app guides you. It tells you to move closer, find more light or turn off a filter.
- Ukti reads your skin. It uses AI to look at the photo.
- You get your score and report.
- You get care steps for the week.
- Come back next week. Take a new selfie and see what changed.
You find the skin reading inside the Look tab.
Seven things Ukti scores
| What | In simple words |
|---|---|
| Dark circles | Dark skin under the eyes |
| Acne | Spots and pimples |
| Dryness | Skin that looks dry or flaky |
| Oiliness | Skin that looks shiny |
| Pigmentation | Patches that are darker than the rest |
| Redness | Areas that look red |
| Texture | How smooth or rough the skin looks |
You also get one overall skin score. The app tells you if it is in the healthy range.
Notes for each part of your face
Your skin is not the same everywhere. So Ukti gives notes by area:
- the forehead and nose,
- each cheek,
- under each eye,
- around the mouth.
Care steps for the week
A score alone does not help. So Ukti writes a simple plan for your week.
- What to do. With the time of day, the days, and the steps.
- What to skip. Things to avoid this week.
- Product ideas. Products that fit your reading, with the reason, the price and a link to a shop. Ukti also says when you need nothing new.
- What to expect. A plain line on what should change by the end of the week. Your next selfie checks it.
See your skin change over time
The app keeps a chart of your skin score across seven weeks. So you can see what has changed from week to week.
Tips for a good selfie
The reading is only as good as the photo.
- Face a window in the daytime.
- Take off makeup if you can.
- Do not use a filter or beauty mode.
- Hold the phone at eye level.
- Use the same place and the same light each week. Then you can compare.
If you are pregnant or nursing
There is a setting for this in your profile. When it is on, Ukti holds back ingredients that people commonly avoid at that time. Please also ask your doctor.
What it is not
We want to be very clear about this.
- Ukti is not a medical tool.
- It does not find skin diseases.
- It does not replace a doctor.
Ukti gives grooming and styling guidance only. If something on your skin worries you, hurts, or does not go away, please see a doctor.
Your skin and your colors
Ukti also uses your photos to learn your skin undertone. That is the color under your skin: warm, cool or in between. It uses this when it picks your clothes, so the colors near your face suit you.
